This is a collection of custom projects made from New York City reclaimed old-growth Southern white pine, milled over a century ago. Salvaged from residential knockdowns around the City, each piece of lumber is unique, carrying inside its 500-year-old end-grain the stories of changing neighborhoods and the dreams of generations.

We keep as much of this character intact as possible—wood bears saw marks from the historic milling process, and stunning discolorations from centuries-old nails and oxidation. We paint with sandpaper to bring out deep reds and browns, balancing rich hues with the natural whites and yellows of the pine buried beneath the rustic exterior.

All metal frames are welded by hand at Bunker Hill Studio.
